The Art and Science Laboratory is a scientific, educational, and cultural institution incorporated in the state of New Mexico. The US Internal Revenue Service granted 501(c)(3) nonprofit, tax-exempt status in January 2000. The Laboratory has extended affiliations with private and public institutions in Santa Fe and elsewhere, affording it access to a wide range of technical and research facilities.
